And they kept striking his head with a staff and spitting on him; and falling to their knees, they paid (prosekynoun | προσεκύνουν | imperf act ind 3 pl) homage to him.
Suddenly Jesus met them and said, “Good morning!” And they came to him, took hold of his feet, and worshipped (prosekynēsan | προσεκύνησαν | aor act ind 3 pl) him.
Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Jesus with her sons, and kneeling (proskynousa | προσκυνοῦσα | pres act ptcp nom sg fem) down she asked something from him.
So the servant fell to the ground prostate (prosekynei | προσεκύνει | imperf act ind 3 sg) before him, saying, ‘Have patience with me, and I will repay you everything.’
As he was saying these things a ruler came and bowed (prosekynei | προσεκύνει | imperf act ind 3 sg) down before him, saying, “My daughter has just died; but come, lay your hand on her and she will live again.”
