And one of them stood up, named Agabus, and indicated (esēmanen | ἐσήμανεν | aor act ind 3 sg) by the Spirit that there would be a great famine over all the world (which took place in the days of Claudius).
Now he said this to indicate (sēmainōn | σημαίνων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) by what kind of death Peter would glorify God. And after this he told him, “Follow me!”
This was to fulfill the word that Jesus had spoken indicating (sēmainōn | σημαίνων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) what kind of death he was going to die.
