Others, to test him, kept demanding from him a sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | acc sg neut) from heaven.

Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother, “Take note, this child is appointed for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | acc sg neut) that will be opposed

And this is the sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut) for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”

And going out, they proclaimed everywhere, while the Lord worked alongside and confirmed the message through the accompanying signs (sēmeiōn | σημείων | gen pl neut).

And these signs (sēmeia | σημεῖα | nom pl neut) will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;

For false christs and false prophets will arise and will offer signs (sēmeia | σημεῖα | acc pl neut) and wonders in order to deceive, if possible, the elect.

“Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut) when all these things are about to take place?”

Sighing deeply in his spirit, he said, “Why does this generation seek a sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut)? I tell you the truth, no sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut) will be given to this generation.”

The Pharisees came and began to argue with him, seeking from him a sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | acc sg neut) from heaven, testing him.

The betrayer had given them a sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | acc sg neut), saying, “The one I will kiss, he is the one; seize him.”
