And then the sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut) of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear, and they will perform great signs (sēmeia | σημεῖα | acc pl neut) and wonders so as to lead astray, if that were possible, even the elect.

And when he was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when are these things to take place, and what will be the sign (sēmeion | σημεῖον | nom sg neut) of your coming and the consummation of the age?”
