So they came in haste (speusantes | σπεύσαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger.

Also some of the Epicurean and Stoic philosophers were conversing with him, and some were asking, “What does this babbler (spermologos | σπερμολόγος | nom sg masc) want to say?” Others said, “He seems to be a proclaimer of strange gods,” for he was announcing the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.

So the dragon became furious with the woman and went off to make war against the rest of her children (spermatos | σπέρματος | gen sg neut), those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

No one born of God makes a practice of sinning, because God’s seed (sperma | σπέρμα | nom sg neut) abides in him. He cannot keep on sinning, because he has been born of God.

By faith Abraham was enabled to become a father — even though Sarah herself was sterile and beyond the normal age of childbearing — because he regarded as faithful the one who had made the promise.

For surely he does not reach out to help angels, but he reaches out to help the seed (spermatos | σπέρματος | gen sg neut) of Abraham.

Remember Jesus Christ, risen from the dead, from the seed (spermatos | σπέρματος | gen sg neut) of David, in accordance with my gospel,

And if you belong to Christ, then you are descendants (sperma | σπέρμα | nom sg neut) of Abraham, heirs according to the promise.

Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions, until the descendant (sperma | σπέρμα | nom sg neut) should come to whom the promise had been made. It was established through angels by a mediator.
