But whoever has this world’s resources and sees his fellow Christian in need yet closes his heart (splanchna | σπλάγχνα | acc pl neut) against him, how does the love of God abide in him?
For I have derived much joy and encouragement from your love, my brother, because the hearts (splanchna | σπλάγχνα | nom pl neut) of the saints have been refreshed by you.
clothe yourselves with Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with heartfelt (splanchna | σπλάγχνα | acc pl neut) compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
So if there is any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from love, if any fellowship in the Spirit, if any affection (splanchna | σπλάγχνα | nom pl neut) and compassion,
And his affection (splanchna | σπλάγχνα | nom pl neut) for you is even greater when he recalls the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling you welcomed him.
