and there was a woman there who had had a spirit of weakness for eighteen years. She was bent (synkyptousa | συγκύπτουσα | pres act ptcp nom sg fem) over and not able to straighten up at all.
For we would not dare to classify or compare (synkrinai | συγκρῖναι | aor act inf ) ourselves with some of those who are recommending themselves. Rather, when they measure themselves by themselves and compare (synkrinontes | συγκρίνοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) themselves by themselves, they are without understanding.
And we speak about these things in words not taught by human wisdom but taught by the Spirit, expressing (synkrinontes | συγκρίνοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) spiritual truths in spiritual words.
