Children, obey your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Nevertheless, each one of you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) is to love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife is to respect her husband.

speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and songs inspired by the Spirit; singing and making melody in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) heart to the Lord,

Let no one deceive you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.

But sexual immorality and every kind of impurity or covetousness must not even be mentioned among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), as is proper among the saints;

Instead, be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God in Christ forgave you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd).

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be removed from you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd), along with all malice.

Let no evil talk come out of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) mouth, but only what is useful for building up, as the need arises, that it may benefit those who hear.

If you get angry, do not sin; do not allow the sun to go down on your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) anger

and to be renewed in the spirit of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) minds.
