For I have no one else of like mind who will be genuinely concerned for your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) welfare.

I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) soon, so that I too may be encouraged by news about you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd).

Likewise you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) also should be glad and rejoice with me.

But even if I am to be poured out as a drink offering upon the sacrifice and service of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd).

for it is God who is at work in you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), both to will and to work on behalf of his good pleasure.

Your (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) attitude toward one another should be the same as that of Christ Jesus,

For it has been granted to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in him but also to suffer for him,

and are in no way frightened by your opponents. This is a sign of destruction for them, but of salvation for you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) — and that from God.

Only conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that, whether I come and see you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) or remain away, I may hear that you are standing firm in one spirit, striving side by side with one mind for the faith of the gospel,

so that when I come again to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) boasting in Christ Jesus might abound because of me.
