from the tribe of Judah twelve thousand sealed (esphragismenoi | ἐσφραγισμένοι | perf pass ptcp nom pl masc), from the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand, from the tribe of Gad twelve thousand,

And I heard the number of those who were sealed (esphragismenōn | ἐσφραγισμένων | perf pass ptcp gen pl masc), one hundred forty-four thousand, sealed (esphragismenoi | ἐσφραγισμένοι | perf pass ptcp nom pl masc) from every tribe of the sons of Israel:

saying, “Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees until we have sealed (sphragisōmen | σφραγίσωμεν | aor act subj 1 pl) the servants of our God on their foreheads.”

And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, in whom you were sealed (esphragisthēte | ἐσφραγίσθητε | aor pass ind 2 pl) for the day of redemption.

You also are in him, having heard the word of truth, the good news of your salvation; in him also, when you believed, you were marked (esphragisthēte | ἐσφραγίσθητε | aor pass ind 2 pl) with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit,

and who has (sphragisamenos | σφραγισάμενος | aor mid ptcp nom sg masc) also sealed (sphragisamenos | σφραγισάμενος | aor mid ptcp nom sg masc) us and given us his Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

Therefore, when I have completed this task and have delivered (sphragisamenos | σφραγισάμενος | aor mid ptcp nom sg masc) to them what was raised, I will leave for Spain by way of you.

Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that lasts for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you; for on (esphragisen | ἐσφράγισεν | aor act ind 3 sg) him God the Father has set (esphragisen | ἐσφράγισεν | aor act ind 3 sg) his seal.”

The one who has accepted his testimony has thereby acknowledged (esphragisen | ἐσφράγισεν | aor act ind 3 sg) that God is truthful.
