And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals (sphragidas | σφραγῖδας | acc pl fem), for you were slain, and by your blood you ransomed people for God from every tribe, language, people, and nation.
Then one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David, has won the victory so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” (sphragidas | σφραγῖδας | acc pl fem)
Then I saw in the right hand of the one who was seated on the throne a scroll written inside and on the back, sealed with seven seals (sphragisin | σφραγῖσιν | dat pl fem).
Nevertheless, the firm foundation of God stands firm, having this seal (sphragida | σφραγῖδα | acc sg fem), “The Lord knew those who were his,” and, “Let everyone naming the name of the Lord depart from unrighteousness.”
He received the sign of circumcision as a seal (sphragida | σφραγῖδα | acc sg fem) of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised, so that he would be the father of all who believe but have never been circumcised, that they too might have righteousness credited to them.
Then he said to me, “Do (sphragisēs | σφραγίσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) not seal up (sphragisēs | σφραγίσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.
Then he threw him into the abyss, locked and sealed (esphragisen | ἐσφράγισεν | aor act ind 3 sg) it over him, so he could not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were finished. After that he must be set loose for a short time.
And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was preparing to write but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up (sphragison | σφράγισον | aor act imperative 2 sg) what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”
