Father, I desire that those also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, so they may see my glory that you have given me because you loved (ēgapēsas | ἠγάπησας | aor act ind 2 sg) me before the creation of the world.
I in them and you in me, that they may be completely one, so that the world may know that you sent me, and that you love (ēgapēsas | ἠγάπησας | aor act ind 2 sg) them even as you (ēgapēsas | ἠγάπησας | aor act ind 2 sg) love (ēgapēsas | ἠγάπησας | aor act ind 2 sg) me.
As the Father has loved (ēgapēsen | ἠγάπησεν | aor act ind 3 sg) me, I have (ēgapēsa | ἠγάπησα | aor act ind 1 sg) also loved (ēgapēsa | ἠγάπησα | aor act ind 1 sg) you; abide in my love.
but so the world may know that I love (agapō | ἀγαπῶ | pres act ind 1 sg) the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded me. Rise up, let us go from this place!
You heard me say to you, ‘I am going away, and I will come back to you.’ If you loved (ēgapate | ἠγαπᾶτε | imperf act ind 2 pl) me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.
The one (agapōn | ἀγαπῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) who (agapōn | ἀγαπῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) does (agapōn | ἀγαπῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) not love (agapōn | ἀγαπῶν | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) me does not keep my words; and the word you are hearing is not mine, but is from the Father’s who sent me.
Jesus answered him, saying, “If anyone loves (agapa | ἀγαπᾷ | pres act subj 3 sg) me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love (agapēsei | ἀγαπήσει | fut act ind 3 sg) him, and we will come to him and make our dwelling place with him.
