When (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) all the people including the tax collectors (those who had been baptized by John) heard (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) this, they declared God just;

Then he answered, them, “Go and tell John what you have seen and heard: (ēkousate | ἠκούσατε | aor act ind 2 pl) the blind see, the lame walk, lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear (akouousin | ἀκούουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl), the dead are raised, the poor have good news brought to them.

When Jesus heard (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) these things, he admired him. Turning to the crowd that was following him, he said, “I tell you, not even in Israel have I found such faith.”

When the centurion heard (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) about Jesus, he sent to him elders of the Jews, asking him to come and heal his servant.

“But I say to you who are listening (akouousin | ἀκούουσιν | pres act ptcp dat pl masc) to me: Love your enemies; do good to those who hate you,

They had come to hear (akousai | ἀκοῦσαι | aor act inf ) him speak and to be healed of their diseases; and those who were troubled with unclean spirits were healed.

Then the word about him spread even more, and large crowds would come together to hear (akouein | ἀκούειν | pres act inf ) him and to be healed of their diseases.
