For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do (phoneusēs | φονεύσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) not commit murder.” (phoneusēs | φονεύσῃς | aor act subj 2 sg) Now if you do not commit adultery but do commit murder (phoneueis | φονεύεις | pres act ind 2 sg), you have become a transgressor of the law.
