After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph, saying (legōn | λέγων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc), “Rise, take the child and his mother, flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell (eipō | εἴπω | aor act subj 1 sg) you; for Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.”
