Therefore since we ourselves have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside (apothemenoi | ἀποθέμενοι | aor mid ptcp nom pl masc) every impediment, and the sin that so easily distracts, and let us run with endurance the race that is prescribed for us,
