For if after they have escaped the (ta | τά | acc pl neut) defilements of the (tou | τοῦ | gen sg masc) world through the knowledge of (tou | τοῦ | gen sg masc) our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the (ta | τά | nom pl neut) last state has become for them worse than the (tōn | τῶν | gen pl neut) first.
