Now the (hai | αἱ | nom pl fem) promises were made to (tō | τῷ | dat sg masc) Abraham and to (tō | τῷ | dat sg neut) his descendant. Scripture does not say, “and to (tois | τοῖς | dat pl neut) descendants,” referring to many, but “and to (tō | τῷ | dat sg neut) your descendant,” referring to one, who is Christ.
