It is the bridegroom (nymphios | νυμφίος | nom sg masc) who has the bride; but the friend of the bridegroom (nymphiou | νυμφίου | gen sg masc), who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly when he hears the bridegroom’s (nymphiou | νυμφίου | gen sg masc) voice. Therefore this joy of mine is now complete.
