Then Herod, when he saw that he had been tricked by the wise men, became furious; and he (aneilen | ἀνεῖλεν | aor act ind 3 sg) sent and killed (aneilen | ἀνεῖλεν | aor act ind 3 sg) all the male children in and around Bethlehem who were two years old or under, according to the time that he had determined from the wise men.
