Jesus therefore no longer walked about openly among the Jews, but went from there to the region near the wilderness, to a town called Ephraim, and he (emeinen | ἔμεινεν | aor act ind 3 sg) stayed (emeinen | ἔμεινεν | aor act ind 3 sg) there with his disciples.
