You desire and do not have; you murder and envy and cannot obtain; you fight and quarrel. You do not have because you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) do not ask.
What accounts for the quarrels and disputes among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd)? Is it not this — your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) desires that are at war in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) members?
Who is wise and understanding among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd)? By his exemplary conduct let him show his works done in the gentleness born of wisdom.
and one of you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) says to them, “Go in peace; stay warm and eat your fill,” and yet you do not give them what their body needs, what good is that?
