Therefore the great value is to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) who believe; but for those who do not believe, “The stone that the builders rejected, this very one has become the cornerstone,”

but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd).

Since you have purified your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) souls by obedience to the truth so that there is a sincere love for other believers, love one another fervently from a pure heart,

who through him believe in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) faith and hope are in God.

He was chosen in advance, before the foundation of the world, but was revealed at the end of the times for you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd)

since you know that you were ransomed from the empty way of life handed down from your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) ancestors, not by perishable things such as silver or gold,

And if you call upon him as Father who judges impartially according to the work of each, conduct yourselves with fear during the time of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) exile,

but, just as the one who called you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) is holy, so also are you to be holy in all your conduct.

As children of obedience, do not be conformed to the desires you used to have in your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) time of ignorance

Therefore gird up the loins of your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) mind, be sober-minded, and set your hope completely on the grace that will be brought to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
