And Barnabas and Saul returned (hypestrepsan | ὑπέστρεψαν | aor act ind 3 pl) from Jerusalem having completed their mission, taking with them John, whose other name was Mark.
Now after solemnly testifying and speaking the word of the Lord, they returned (hypestrephon | ὑπέστρεφον | imperf act ind 3 pl) to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel to many villages of the Samaritans.
Then they returned (hypestrepsan | ὑπέστρεψαν | aor act ind 3 pl) to Jerusalem from a hill called “The Mount of Olives,” which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day’s walk away.
So they got up that very hour and returned (hypestrepsan | ὑπέστρεψαν | aor act ind 3 pl) to Jerusalem, where they found the eleven and those with them gathered together,
Then they returned (hypostrepsasai | ὑποστρέψασαι | aor act ptcp nom pl fem) and prepared anointing spices and perfumes. On the Sabbath they rested according to the commandment.
And when all who had gathered for this spectacle saw what had happened, they (hypestrephon | ὑπέστρεφον | imperf act ind 3 pl) returned (hypestrephon | ὑπέστρεφον | imperf act ind 3 pl) home, beating their breasts.
So he said, “A certain noble went to a distant country to acquire royal power for himself and then to return (hypostrepsai | ὑποστρέψαι | aor act inf ).
