Were they not found, so as to return (hypostrepsantes | ὑποστρέψαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) and give praise to God, except this foreigner?”

Then one of them, when he saw that he had been healed, returned (hypestrepsen | ὑπέστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg), praising God in a loud voice,

“When the unclean spirit departs from a person, it travels through waterless places seeking rest, and not finding one; then it says, ‘I will return (hypostrepsō | ὑποστρέψω | fut act ind 1 sg) to my house from which I departed.’

The seventy-two returned (hypestrepsan | ὑπέστρεψαν | aor act ind 3 pl) with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

When the apostles returned (hypostrepsantes | ὑποστρέψαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) they recounted to Jesus all they had done; and he took them and withdrew privately to a town called Bethsaida.

As Jesus was returning (hypostrephein | ὑποστρέφειν | pres act inf ) the crowd welcomed him, for they were all waiting for him.

“Return (hypostrephe | ὑπόστρεφε | pres act imperative 2 sg) to your house and declare how much God has done for you.” And he went about the whole city proclaiming what Jesus had done for him.

Then all the people of the surrounding region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to go away from them, because they were seized with a great fear. So he got into a boat and returned (hypestrepsen | ὑπέστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg).

Returning (hypostrepsantes | ὑποστρέψαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) to the house, those who had been sent found the servant in good health.

Then Jesus returned (hypestrepsen | ὑπέστρεψεν | aor act ind 3 sg) in the power of the Spirit to Galilee, and a report about him spread throughout the whole countryside.
