Now concerning food sacrificed to idols: we know that “we all have knowledge.” Knowledge puffs up (physioi | φυσιοῖ | pres act ind 3 sg), but love builds up.

And you are arrogant! (pephysiōmenoi | πεφυσιωμένοι | perf pass ptcp nom pl masc) Ought you not rather to have mourned, so that the man who did this deed would be removed from your midst?

But these people, like irrational animals, born creatures of instinct (physika | φυσικά | nom pl neut) to be captured and destroyed, are ignorant of those whom they slander, and in their destruction will themselves also be destroyed,
