“A voice (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) was heard in Ramah, weeping and loud lamentation, Rachel weeping for her children; she refused to be comforted, because they were no more.”
Then another angel, the one who had authority over the fire, came out from the altar and called (ephōnēsen | ἐφώνησεν | aor act ind 3 sg) with a loud voice to the angel who had the sharp sickle, “Thrust in your sickle and gather the clusters of grapes from the vine of the earth, for its grapes are ripe.”
When the angel who spoke to him had gone away, he called (phōnēsas | φωνήσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) two of his servants and a devout soldier from among those who waited on him,
And he gave her his hand and raised her up; then he called (phōnēsas | φωνήσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) the saints and widows and presented her alive.
Jesus replied, “Will you lay down your life for me? I tell you the solemn truth, the rooster will (phōnēsē | φωνήσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) not crow (phōnēsē | φωνήσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) before you deny me three times.
