“I tell you the solemn truth, the hour is coming and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice (phōnēs | φωνῆς | gen sg fem) of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.
It is the bridegroom who has the bride; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands by and listens for him, rejoices greatly when he hears the bridegroom’s voice (phōnēn | φωνήν | acc sg fem). Therefore this joy of mine is now complete.
The wind blows wherever it chooses, and you hear its sound (phōnēn | φωνήν | acc sg fem), but do not know where it is coming from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”
He said, “I am the voice (phōnē | φωνή | nom sg fem) of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”
Then Jesus, crying out in a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem), said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” Having said this, he breathed his last.
But they were insistent, demanding with loud cries (phōnais | φωναῖς | dat pl fem) that he should be crucified, and their cries (phōnai | φωναί | nom pl fem) prevailed.
As he was already approaching to the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice (phōnē | φωνῇ | dat sg fem) for all the mighty works they had seen,
While he was saying these things, a woman in the crowd raised her voice (phōnēn | φωνήν | acc sg fem) and said to him, “Blessed is the womb that carried you, and the breasts that nursed you!”
