How much greater (cheironos | χείρονος | gen sg fem comparative) punishment do you think will be deserved by the one who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was made holy, and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

while wicked people and impostors will advance from bad to worse (cheiron | χεῖρον | acc sg neut comparative), deceiving and being deceived.

But if anyone does not care for his own, especially his household members, he has disowned the faith and is worse (cheirōn | χείρων | nom sg masc comparative) than an unbeliever.

Later on Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “See, you have been healed! Do not sin any longer, so that nothing worse (cheiron | χεῖρον | nom sg neut comparative) happens to you.”

No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old garment, because the patch will pull away from the garment, and the tear will be worse (cheiron | χεῖρον | nom sg neut comparative).
