But if a certain widow (chēra | χήρα | nom sg fem) has children or grandchildren, let them learn to show godliness first to their own household and to make some return to their parents; for this is pleasing before God.

Honor widows (chēras | χήρας | acc pl fem) who are truly widows (chēras | χήρας | acc pl fem).

Now to the unmarried and to the widows (chērais | χήραις | dat pl fem) I say that it is good for them to remain single, as I am.
