For what does it profit (ōphelei | ὠφελεῖ | pres act ind 3 sg) a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his life?

But you say, ‘If a man says to his father or mother, “Whatever help (ōphelēthēs | ὠφεληθῇς | aor pass subj 2 sg) you (ōphelēthēs | ὠφεληθῇς | aor pass subj 2 sg) might (ōphelēthēs | ὠφεληθῇς | aor pass subj 2 sg) have (ōphelēthēs | ὠφεληθῇς | aor pass subj 2 sg) received (ōphelēthēs | ὠφεληθῇς | aor pass subj 2 sg) from me is Corban” (that is, given to God),

These people are grumblers, malcontents who follow their sinful desires; their speech is arrogant, they flatter others to gain advantage (ōpheleias | ὠφελείας | gen sg fem).

What advantage then has the Jew? Or what is the value (ōpheleia | ὠφέλεια | nom sg fem) of circumcision?
