And not only by his arrival but also by the encouragement with which he was encouraged by you, as he reported to us your strong affection, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that (hōste | ὥστε | conj) I rejoiced more than ever.

Therefore (hōste | ὥστε | conj) if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation; what is old has passed away; behold, what is new has come!

So (hōste | ὥστε | conj) from now on we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, yet now we regard him in that way no longer.

Thus (hōste | ὥστε | conj) death is at work in us, but life in you.

Now if the ministry of death, engraved in letters on stones, came with such glory that (hōste | ὥστε | conj) the Israelites were unable to gaze steadily into the face of Moses due to the glory of his face, fading as it was,

so that (hōste | ὥστε | conj) you should rather forgive and console him, lest he be swallowed up by excessive sorrow.

For we want you to know, brothers, about the affliction we suffered in Asia, that we were burdened excessively beyond our power to cope, so that (hōste | ὥστε | conj) we despaired even of living.

So then (hōste | ὥστε | conj), my dear brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, since you know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

So (hōste | ὥστε | conj), my brothers, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.

So then (hōste | ὥστε | conj) tongues are for a sign, not for believers but for unbelievers, while prophecy is not for unbelievers but for believers.
