that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me and I am in you, that they also may be in us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), so that the world may believe that you have sent me.
I am no longer in the world, but they are in the world, and I am on my way to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name, the name that you have given me, so that they may be one, just as we (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) are one.
Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he is saying to us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), ‘A little while and you will not see me, and again a little while and you will see me’ and, ‘Because I am going to the Father’?”
Judas (not Iscariot) said to him, “Lord, what has happened that you are going to reveal yourself to us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st), and not to the world?”
Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long a time with you, Philip, and you still do not know me? The one who has seen me has seen the Father! How can you say, ‘Show us (hēmin | ἡμῖν | dat pl 1st) the Father’?
that the word spoken by the prophet Isaiah might be fulfilled: “Lord, who has believed what they heard from us (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st), and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
The crowd responded, “We (hēmeis | ἡμεῖς | nom pl 1st) have heard from the law that the Christ is to remain forever; so how is it that you are saying that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”
If we let him go on like this, everyone will believe in him, and the Romans will come and destroy both our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) holy place and our (hēmōn | ἡμῶν | gen pl 1st) nation.”
