And while they were reclining at table and eating, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, one of you will betray (paradōsei | παραδώσει | fut act ind 3 sg) me, one who is eating with me.”
And when they heard it, they were pleased and promised to give him money. So Judas was seeking how he (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) might (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) hand (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) him over (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) at a convenient moment.
Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the ruling priests so he (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) might (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) hand (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) Jesus over (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) to them.
And brother will deliver (paradōsei | παραδώσει | fut act ind 3 sg) over brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up in rebellion against parents and have them put to death.
And when they bring you to trial and deliver (paradidontes | παραδιδόντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) you over, do not worry ahead of time what you should say, but whatever is given you in that hour, speak; for you are not the ones who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit.
But watch out for yourselves; they will deliver (paradōsousin | παραδώσουσιν | fut act ind 3 pl) you over (paradōsousin | παραδώσουσιν | fut act ind 3 pl) to local councils, and in synagogues you will be beaten, and before governors and kings you will be made to stand for my sake, to bear witness to them.
“Listen, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be handed (paradothēsetai | παραδοθήσεται | fut pass ind 3 sg) over to the ruling priests and the scribes, and they will condemn him to death and hand (paradōsousin | παραδώσουσιν | fut act ind 3 pl) him over (paradōsousin | παραδώσουσιν | fut act ind 3 pl) to the Gentiles.
for he was teaching his disciples and saying to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered (paradidotai | παραδίδοται | pres pass ind 3 sg) into the hands of men, and they will kill him. Then three days after he has been killed, he will rise.
Thus you invalidate the word of God with your tradition that you have handed (paredōkate | παρεδώκατε | aor act ind 2 pl) down. And you do many similar things.”
