The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob — the God of our fathers — glorified his servant Jesus, whom you delivered (paredōkate | παρεδώκατε | aor act ind 2 pl) over and disowned in the presence of Pilate, when he had decided to release him.
Peter turned and saw following them the disciple whom Jesus loved, the one who at the supper had leaned back against Jesus and said, “Master, who is it that will betray (paradidous | παραδιδούς | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) you?”

Jesus said, “You would have no authority over me at all unless it had been given you from above. That is why the man who handed (paradous | παραδούς | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) me over (paradous | παραδούς | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) to you has a greater sin.”
Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world; if my kingdom were of this world, my subjects would be fighting to prevent me from being handed (paradothō | παραδοθῶ | aor pass subj 1 sg) over to the Jews; but as it is my kingdom is not from here.”
Pilate answered, “I am not a Jew, am I? Your own people and the chief priests handed (paredōkan | παρέδωκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) you over (paredōkan | παρέδωκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) to me. What have you done?”
They replied to him, saying, “If this man were not doing something wrong, we (paredōkamen | παρεδώκαμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) would not have (paredōkamen | παρεδώκαμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) handed (paredōkamen | παρεδώκαμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) him over (paredōkamen | παρεδώκαμεν | aor act ind 1 pl) to you.”
They answered him, “Jesus the Nazarene.” He said to them, “I am he.” Now Judas, who betrayed (paradidous | παραδιδούς | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) him, was standing with them.
Now Judas, who betrayed (paradidous | παραδιδούς | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) him, also knew the place, because Jesus often met there with his disciples.
