After saying these things, Jesus became troubled in spirit, and testified, “I tell you the solemn truth, one of you will betray (paradōsei | παραδώσει | fut act ind 3 sg) me.”

For he knew who was about to betray (paradidonta | παραδιδόντα | pres act ptcp acc sg masc) him; that was why he said, “Not all of you are clean.”

The devil had already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon’s son, to betray (paradoi | παραδοῖ | aor act subj 3 sg) Jesus. During the evening meal

But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who would betray (paradidonai | παραδιδόναι | pres act inf ) him) said,

(He was speaking of Judas, son of Simon Iscariot, for he, one of the twelve, was going to betray (paradidonai | παραδιδόναι | pres act inf ) him.)

But there are some among you who do not believe.” For from the beginning Jesus knew those who would not believe, and who it was who would betray (paradōsōn | παραδώσων | fut act ptcp nom sg masc) him.

that our chief priests and rulers delivered (paredōkan | παρέδωκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) him up (paredōkan | παρέδωκαν | aor act ind 3 pl) to be condemned to death and crucified him.

saying that it was necessary for the Son of Man to be delivered (paradothēnai | παραδοθῆναι | aor pass inf ) into the hands of sinful men and to be crucified and on the third day to rise again.”

He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, for whom they asked, but he (paredōken | παρέδωκεν | aor act ind 3 sg) handed (paredōken | παρέδωκεν | aor act ind 3 sg) over (paredōken | παρέδωκεν | aor act ind 3 sg) Jesus to their will.

but Jesus said to him, “Judas, is it with a kiss that you (paradidōs | παραδίδως | pres act ind 2 sg) intend (paradidōs | παραδίδως | pres act ind 2 sg) to (paradidōs | παραδίδως | pres act ind 2 sg) betray (paradidōs | παραδίδως | pres act ind 2 sg) the Son of Man?”
