Jesus replied “Moses allowed you to divorce your wives because of the hardness (sklērokardian | σκληροκαρδίαν | acc sg fem) of your hearts (sklērokardian | σκληροκαρδίαν | acc sg fem); but it was not that way from the beginning.
Rejoice in that day, and leap (skirtēsate | σκιρτήσατε | aor act imperative 2 pl) for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven. For their fathers treated the prophets in the same way.
