the people living in darkness have seen a great light, and on those living in the region and shadow (skia | σκιᾷ | dat sg fem) of death, a light has dawned.”
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and he will dwell (skēnōsei | σκηνώσει | fut act ind 3 sg) with them. They will be his people, and he will be with them as their God.
He opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme his name and his dwelling, that is, those who (skēnountas | σκηνοῦντας | pres act ptcp acc pl masc) live (skēnountas | σκηνοῦντας | pres act ptcp acc pl masc) in heaven.
Therefore, rejoice, O heavens and all who dwell (skēnountes | σκηνοῦντες | pres act ptcp voc pl masc) in them! But woe to you, O earth and sea, for the devil has come down to you having great wrath, because he knows that he has only a short time!”

And the Word became flesh and dwelt (eskēnōsen | ἐσκήνωσεν | aor act ind 3 sg) among us, and we gazed on his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
