Then all the people of the surrounding region of the Gerasenes asked Jesus to go away from them, because they (syneichonto | συνείχοντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl) were (syneichonto | συνείχοντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl) seized (syneichonto | συνείχοντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl) with (syneichonto | συνείχοντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl) a great fear. So he got into a boat and returned.
After leaving the synagogue, Jesus went to Simon’s house. Now Simon’s mother-in-law was suffering (synechomenē | συνεχομένη | pres pass ptcp nom sg fem) a severe fever, and they made a request to him on her behalf.
And the report about him spread throughout Syria, and they brought to him all who were suffering with (synechomenous | συνεχομένους | pres pass ptcp acc pl masc) various diseases and pains, demoniacs, epileptics, and paralytics, and he healed them.
The crowd joined (synepestē | συνεπέστη | aor act ind 3 sg) in attacking them, and the magistrates tore the clothes off them and gave orders to beat them with rods.
These people are blemishes on your love-feasts, feasting with (syneuōchoumenoi | συνευωχούμενοι | pres pass ptcp nom pl masc) you without reverence, caring only for themselves. They are waterless clouds, swept along by winds; autumn trees without fruit and uprooted — completely dead;
suffering harm as the reward for the harm they have done. They consider indulgence in the daytime a pleasure. They are spots and blemishes, reveling in their deceitful pleasures while they feast with (syneuōchoumenoi | συνευωχούμενοι | pres pass ptcp nom pl masc) you.
And if some woman has a husband who is not a believer, and he is willing (syneudokei | συνευδοκεῖ | pres act ind 3 sg) to live with her, she should not divorce him.
To the rest I say (I, not the Lord): If some brother has a wife who is not a believer, and she is willing (syneudokei | συνευδοκεῖ | pres act ind 3 sg) to live with him, he should not divorce her.
