This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see and hearing they do not hear nor do they understand (syniousin | συνίουσιν | pres act ind 3 pl).

Then Paul answered, “What are you doing, weeping and breaking (synthryptontes | συνθρύπτοντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) my heart? For I am ready not only to be tied up but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”

And his disciples said to him, “You see the crowd pressing (synthlibonta | συνθλίβοντα | pres act ptcp acc sg masc) around you and yet you say, ‘Who touched me?’” touched

So Jesus went with him. A large crowd was following him and crowding (synethlibon | συνέθλιβον | imperf act ind 3 pl) around him.

Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken (synthlasthēsetai | συνθλασθήσεται | fut pass ind 3 sg) into pieces, and on whomever it falls, it will crush him.”

Having been buried (syntaphentes | συνταφέντες | aor pass ptcp nom pl masc) with him in baptism, you have also been raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

Therefore we were buried (synetaphēmen | συνετάφημεν | aor pass ind 1 pl) with him by baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we might walk in newness of life.

And I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age (synēlikiōtas | συνηλικιώτας | acc pl masc) in the entire nation, being extremely zealous for the traditions of my ancestors.

If anyone is inclined to be quarrelsome, we have no such practice (synētheian | συνήθειαν | acc sg fem), nor do the churches of God.
