And unless the Lord had cut short the number of days, no one would survive (esōthē | ἐσώθη | aor pass ind 3 sg); but on account of the elect, whom he chose, he cut short the days.
And Jesus said to him, “Go, your faith has healed (sesōken | σέσωκεν | perf act ind 3 sg) you.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following him on the way.
For whoever wishes to (sōsai | σῶσαι | aor act inf ) save (sōsai | σῶσαι | aor act inf ) his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save (sōsei | σώσει | fut act ind 3 sg) it.
And wherever he entered villages, towns, or rural areas, they would place the sick in the marketplaces and implore him that they might touch just the fringe of his cloak. And as many as touched him were made well (esōzonto | ἐσῴζοντο | imperf pass ind 3 pl).
And he And said to her, “Daughter, your faith your has made you well (sesōken | σέσωκεν | perf act ind 3 sg). Go in peace and be healed of your affliction.” your
and begged him earnestly, saying, “My little daughter “My is about to die. is about Come and place your hands on her so she will be healed (sōthē | σωθῇ | aor pass subj 3 sg) and live.”
And he said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath to do good or to do evil, to (sōsai | σῶσαι | aor act inf ) save (sōsai | σῶσαι | aor act inf ) life or to destroy it?” But they remained silent.
