And salvation is in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (sōthēnai | σωθῆναι | aor pass inf )
praising God, and finding favor with all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number day by day those who were being saved (sōzomenous | σῳζομένους | pres pass ptcp acc pl masc).
And with many other words he gave them warning and pleaded with them, saying, “Escape (sōthēte | σώθητε | aor pass imperative 2 pl) from this corrupt generation.”
If anyone hears my words and does not keep them, I am not the one who will judge him; for I did not come to judge the world but to save (sōsō | σώσω | aor act subj 1 sg) the world.
“Now is my heart deeply troubled. And what am I to say? ‘Father, deliver (sōson | σῶσον | aor act imperative 2 sg) me from this hour’? But for this very purpose I have come to this hour!
I am the gate. If anyone enters through me, he will be saved (sōthēsetai | σωθήσεται | fut pass ind 3 sg); he will come in and go out and find pasture.
