Not being weak in faith, he considered his own body (sōma | σῶμα | acc sg neut) as dead (since he was about a hundred years old), and the barrenness of Sarah’s womb.
Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, so that they dishonored their bodies (sōmata | σώματα | acc pl neut) among themselves.
But Peter put them all outside, and falling to his knees he prayed; then turning toward the dead body (sōma | σῶμα | acc sg neut), he said, “Tabitha, get up!” And she opened her eyes, and seeing Peter, she sat up.
She saw two angels in white sitting there, one at the head and the other at the feet of the place where the body (sōma | σῶμα | nom sg neut) of Jesus had been lying.
So they took the body (sōma | σῶμα | acc sg neut) of Jesus and wrapped it in strips of linen with the spices, in accordance with the Jewish custom for burial.
After this Joseph of Arimathea, a disciple of Jesus (though a secret one due to his fear of the Jews) asked Pilate if he could remove the body (sōma | σῶμα | acc sg neut) of Jesus. Pilate gave him permission, so he came and removed the body (sōma | σῶμα | acc sg neut).
Then, since it was the day of Preparation, so that the bodies (sōmata | σώματα | nom pl neut) would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate to have the legs of the crucified men broken and their bodies taken down.
