So he gave them permission. Then the unclean spirits came out and entered the pigs. The herd (agelē | ἀγέλη | nom sg fem) (about two thousand strong) rushed down the steep bank into the sea (about two thousand and was drowned.

Now a large herd (agelē | ἀγέλη | nom sg fem) of pigs was feeding there on the mountainside.

And he said to them, “Be gone.” So they came out and went into the pigs. Then the entire herd (agelē | ἀγέλη | nom sg fem) rushed down the steep bank into the sea and drowned in the waters.

And the demons begged him, saying, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd (agelēn | ἀγέλην | acc sg fem) of pigs.”

Some distance from them there was a large herd (agelē | ἀγέλη | nom sg fem) of pigs feeding.

and when it was full, they pulled it up onto the shore; and they sat down and put the good fish into baskets (angē | ἄγγη | acc pl neut), but the bad they threw away.

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel (angelou | ἀγγέλου | gen sg masc) who was showing them to me.

And he said to me, “These words are reliable and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel (angelon | ἄγγελον | acc sg masc) to show to his servants what must soon take place.”
