(I am speaking in human terms because of your natural limitations.) For just as you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness leading to more lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, leading to sanctification (hagiasmon | ἁγιασμόν | acc sg masc).

Let the evildoer continue to do evil, and the filthy be filthy still; let the righteous continue to act righteously, and the holy be holy (hagiasthētō | ἁγιασθήτω | aor pass imperative 3 sg) still.”

but in your hearts set (hagiasate | ἁγιάσατε | aor act imperative 2 pl) apart (hagiasate | ἁγιάσατε | aor act imperative 2 pl) Christ as Lord, being ready at all times to make a defense to all who ask you for a word concerning the hope that is in you.

So Jesus also suffered outside the city gate in order to sanctify (hagiasē | ἁγιάσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) the people through his own blood.

How much greater punishment do you think will be deserved by the one who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was made holy (hēgiasthē | ἡγιάσθη | aor pass ind 3 sg), and has insulted the Spirit of grace?

because by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being made holy (hagiazomenous | ἁγιαζομένους | pres pass ptcp acc pl masc).

For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkled ashes of a heifer, sanctify (hagiazei | ἁγιάζει | pres act ind 3 sg) those who have been ceremonially defiled so that their flesh is purified,

For the one who sanctifies (hagiazōn | ἁγιάζων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) and those who are sanctified (hagiazomenoi | ἁγιαζόμενοι | pres pass ptcp nom pl masc) are all of one origin. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers,

If, therefore, someone cleanses himself from these things, that person will be a vessel for honor, having been sanctified (hēgiasmenon | ἡγιασμένον | perf pass ptcp nom sg neut), useful to the master, prepared for every good work.
