Then another angel (angelos | ἄγγελος | nom sg masc), a second, followed, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! — she who has made all nations drink of the wine of her passionate immorality.”
Then I saw another angel (angelon | ἄγγελον | acc sg masc) flying directly overhead, with an eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth — to every nation, tribe, language, and people.
And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world — he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels (angeloi | ἄγγελοι | nom pl masc) were thrown down with him.
Then war broke out in heaven, Michael and his angels (angeloi | ἄγγελοι | nom pl masc) fought against the dragon. The dragon and his angels (angeloi | ἄγγελοι | nom pl masc) fought back,
Then the seventh angel (angelos | ἄγγελος | nom sg masc) blew his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign forever and ever.”
So I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel (angelou | ἀγγέλου | gen sg masc) and ate it. In my mouth it was as sweet as honey, but when I had eaten it, my stomach became bitter.
So I went to the angel (angelon | ἄγγελον | acc sg masc) and told him to give me the little scroll. And he said to me, “Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.”
Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel (angelou | ἀγγέλου | gen sg masc) who is standing on the sea and on the land.”
But in the days when the seventh angel (angelou | ἀγγέλου | gen sg masc) is about to sound his trumpet, the mystery of God will be fulfilled, just as he announced to his servants the prophets.”
