Then another angel, a third, followed (ēkolouthēsen | ἠκολούθησεν | aor act ind 3 sg) them, declaring in a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand,
Then another angel, a second, followed (ēkolouthēsen | ἠκολούθησεν | aor act ind 3 sg), saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! — she who has made all nations drink of the wine of her passionate immorality.”
These are the ones who have not been defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow (akolouthountes | ἀκολουθοῦντες | pres act ptcp nom pl masc) the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from the human race as firstfruits for God and for the Lamb,
And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades was following (ēkolouthei | ἠκολούθει | imperf act ind 3 sg) with him. And authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.
and all drank the same spiritual drink; for they used to drink from the spiritual rock that followed (akolouthousēs | ἀκολουθούσης | pres act ptcp gen sg fem) them, and that rock was Christ.

And after the meeting of the synagogue broke up, many Jews and devout converts followed (ēkolouthēsan | ἠκολούθησαν | aor act ind 3 pl) Paul and Barnabas, who, as they spoke with them, were persuading them to continue in the grace of God.
And he (ēkolouthei | ἠκολούθει | imperf act ind 3 sg) went out and followed (ēkolouthei | ἠκολούθει | imperf act ind 3 sg) him, and he did not know that what was being done by the angel was real, but thought he was seeing a vision.
And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around yourself and follow (akolouthei | ἀκολούθει | pres act imperative 2 sg) me.”
Jesus replied, “If I should want him to remain alive until I come back, what concern is that to you? You are to follow (akolouthei | ἀκολούθει | pres act imperative 2 sg) me!”
