What I say to you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you (akouete | ἀκούετε | pres act ind 2 pl) hear (akouete | ἀκούετε | pres act ind 2 pl) whispered, proclaim from the housetops.
And if anyone will not receive you or listen (akousē | ἀκούσῃ | aor act subj 3 sg) to your message, as you leave that house or that town shake off the dust from your feet.
But when (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) Jesus heard (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) it, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a doctor, but those who are sick.
When Jesus heard (akousas | ἀκούσας | aor act ptcp nom sg masc) this, he was amazed and said to those who were following, “I tell you the truth, I have not found faith like this in anyone in Israel.
But everyone who hears (akouōn | ἀκούων | pres act ptcp nom sg masc) these words of mine, and does not do them, will be like the foolish man who built his house on sand.
“Therefore everyone who hears (akouei | ἀκούει | pres act ind 3 sg) these words of mine, and does them, is like the wise man, who built his house upon rock.
