and they said to him, “Do you hear (akoueis | ἀκούεις | pres act ind 2 sg) what they are saying?” “Yes,” replied Jesus, “but have you never read, ‘Out of the mouth of infants and nursing babies you have brought forth praise’?”
Two blind men were sitting beside the road, and when they heard (akousantes | ἀκούσαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) that Jesus was passing by they cried out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”

Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard (akousantes | ἀκούσαντες | aor act ptcp nom pl masc) what you said?”
