Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) completely, and may your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) spirit, soul, and body be preserved completely whole and blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) in Christ Jesus.

Now we appeal to you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), brothers, admonish the disorderly, comfort the discouraged, help the weak, be patient toward all.

Now we ask you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd), brothers, to respect those who work tirelessly among you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd), care for you (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) Lord, and instruct you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd);

for you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd) are all sons of light, sons of the day. We do not belong to night or darkness.

But you (hymeis | ὑμεῖς | nom pl 2nd), brothers, are not in darkness, for that day to take you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) by surprise like a thief;

Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need for anything to be written to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd),

For this we say to you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd) by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who remain behind until the coming of the Lord, will by no means precede those who have fallen asleep,

Now we do not want you (hymas | ὑμᾶς | acc pl 2nd) to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as others do who have no hope.

Make it your aim to lead a quiet life, to attend to your own affairs, and to work with your (hymōn | ὑμῶν | gen pl 2nd) own hands, as we commanded you (hymin | ὑμῖν | dat pl 2nd).
